DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS

1. HISTORY

The Department of Mathematics was established in 2008, along with the establishment of Government Degree College, Sabbavaram. Since its inception, the department has been committed to providing quality education in Mathematics and developing students’ logical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Over the years, the department has played an important role in strengthening the mathematical foundation of students pursuing undergraduate education. It encourages students to develop conceptual understanding, numerical skills, logical reasoning, and an analytical approach that are useful for higher education, competitive examinations, and their future careers.

2. OBJECTIVES

The major objectives of the Department of Mathematics are:

1. To impart quality and fundamental knowledge of Mathematics to undergraduate students.
